The Perfectly Shaped
ALDA was created as a model based on the Ulmer Klinke door handle. This door handle impresses with its gently curved, ergonomic shape, which fits comfortably in the hand and supports a natural gripping motion. The surface gives it an elegant look, while smart2lock allows locking directly on the handle – without the need for a key. Thanks to fast2fix, installation is quick and easy with no visible screws. A handle that blends harmoniously into a design landscape as well as into a modern environment.
Graphite black
Black is finding its way into architecture, whether on large window fronts, as entrance doors or in interior details. Griffwerk offers the right selection of black fittings. A special feature is the black shade developed by GRIFFWERK, inspired by the black of graphite. The material look is reminiscent of black graphite powder, the feel is surprisingly soft. Graphite black impresses with its unusual, velvety matt finish and soft surface. Graphite black accents can be repeated in the room. They have a very noble effect and do not stand for elegant refinement and luxury for nothing. DOOR HANDLE SETS
Door handle sets are door fittings that consist of door handles and the corresponding plates or rosettes and are used to open and close doors. Inside the door is a square lever handle pin, which is connected to a lever handle on both sides - via the so-called spindle part.
ROUND ROSETTE SETS
Round rosettes are the circular plates that are fitted around the door handle and keyhole to cover the hole in the door leaf and provide a decorative as well as functional cover. Rosettes combine aesthetic design with functionality. Matching the handle, they are available in the same finishes such as stainless steel, cashmere gray or brass look to suit different interior styles.
WITHOUT KEY ROSETTE
"Without key escutcheon" refers to door fittings that only require a handle - for a clean, modern, minimalist look without a separate cover for the keyhole. This type of lock is usually used for connecting doors between two rooms that do not need to be locked.

Yes, usually a screwdriver or cordless screwdriver is sufficient to remove the protective fittings and pull out the door handle.

Many door fitting dimensions are standardized - such as the square spindle and the distance between the lever handle and keyhole.
To ensure that every square spindle fits into every door, they all have the same cross-section of 8 x 8 millimetres - except for fire doors, where there is an extra millimetre. However, the length of square pins varies. It depends on the dimensions of the handle set.
For all room doors, the keyhole is 72 millimetres from the center of the lever handle.
Please note: The external dimensions of the door handles and fittings are different. When replacing them, make sure that the new one is at least as large or larger than the old one.
Mortice lock door handle sets, BB sets for short, are suitable for room doors made of wood. Doors that are typically equipped with a door lock cylinder require a door handle with profile cylinder insert, or PZ for short. The most common door handle for use on bathrooms and toilets is the WC set with closer. For more intelligent closing and locking, there are door handles with Griffwerk smart2lock technology. DIN EN 1906 "Building hardware - Lever handles and door knobs - Requirements and test methods" specifies properties such as permanent function, corrosion resistance, the free angular movement and displacement of lever handles and door knobs. Door handles are differentiated into categories of use (medium to frequent use by persons with low care), fire resistance (no performance to smoke and fire doors), security (from normal purposes to security requirements), corrosion resistance and burglary resistance.
