The legendary one
This handle borrows its name from the former Berlin automobile racetrack where many a pioneering achievement was made. We brought the first Avus form onto the market in 2011. It had a broad polished phase. The characteristic of this track were the two big hairpin bends. For the grip shape, we reduced the shape again. Two semicircles, now catch the surrounding outline of the straight front surface.
Cashmere grey
The so-called cashmere goats come from the former principality of Kashmir between India, Pakistan and China. Their wool is significantly softer than the finest sheep's wool and one of the most precious and expensive natural fibres of all. It inspired us for our velvety soft surface cashmere grey. Our cashmere grey not only offers luxury for the hands, but also has a silky matt appearance. The shade, which is very close to RAL 7022 (umbra grey), goes perfectly with warm tones and materials. Materials such as wood, patterns in textiles or other fluffy interior accents can be combined.

Window handles are more than just practical operating elements: they are design objects. Especially on windows that you open several times a day, they have to meet a high level of technical requirements.
Window handles - technical equipment
The window handles are fixed to the window frame by the standardized 7 mm square pin. How deep the square pin must be pushed into the window to lock it depends on the thickness of the window. The required pin length can be easily measured in advance using a thin object, such as a knitting needle. To do this, push the knitting needle into the opening as far as it will go and mark the spot with your fingernail. If you now measure this distance with a tape measure, you will have the pin length.
In addition, window handles from Griffwerk are equipped with a plain bearing, for a durable, smooth and, above all, noiseless function. Without costly maintenance work!
