When it comes to door handles, how it feels in your hand is just as important as the aesthetics. Each handle profile has its own style. We have four different profile types: round, oval, square and design.

DOOR HANDLE SETS
Door handle sets are door fittings that consist of door handles and the corresponding plates or rosettes and are used to open and close doors. Inside the door is a square lever handle pin, which is connected to a lever handle on both sides - via the so-called spindle part.

"Without key escutcheon" refers to door fittings that only require a handle - for a clean, modern, minimalist look without a separate cover for the keyhole. This type of lock is usually used for connecting doors between two rooms that do not need to be locked.

Many room doors in Germany use a square spindle with a square diameter of 8 millimeters. For BB and PZ locks, a center-to-center distance of 72 millimeters is common. However, deviations are possible—for example, with WC sets, fire- and smoke-rated doors, older doors, or fittings designed for other markets. Therefore, before ordering, measure the square shank size, the door thickness, the mounting distance, and the existing drilling pattern.
When selecting a door handle, you should distinguish between the base material and the visible finish. The key factors to consider are the intended use, frequency of use, desired feel, and the door’s design. For frequently used doors, a sturdy Lever handle set designed to withstand the intended wear and tear is recommended. Information on the tested usage category—for example, according to DIN EN 1906—can serve as a guide.
Door handles, stainless steel, are durable and available in a variety of finishes. Depending on the model, additional materials and finishes—such as graphite black, Cashmere grey, Brass effect, or Gold matt—are also available. Match the door handle to the door leaf, frame, and other hardware elements such as Window handles or light switches.
The weight of the door, however, is not a decisive factor in choosing the material for the door handle. It is primarily supported by the door leaf, hinges, door frame, and the overall door construction. Therefore, choose a door handle set that is technically compatible with the door and its intended use.

Clean door handles regularly with a soft, slightly damp cloth. None of the cleaning agents should be abrasive, chlorine-based, or harsh. For special finishes, follow the care instructions provided with the product. If you plan to use a disinfectant, it must be suitable for the finish in question.
