The Company

About Griffwerk

We produce high-quality door fittings and have expanded our range with glass doors for the Interior area in 2014. Our fittings and glass doors represent high functionality and unusual design. We develop our products in our main seat in Blaustein at the city border to Ulm.

In the DESIGN MANUFAKTUR area, we offer designs by renowned designers and design agencies, among them FRAME by Prof. Thomas Gerlach or the CHARACTERS collection by sieger design. We are particularly proud to have the only licensed Ulmer Griff handle after a Max Bill design in our portfolio. It was re-edited in 2012 as a homage to the nearby Ulm university for design (Ulmer Hochschule für Gestaltung; Ulmer HFG) in cooperation with the max, binia + jakob bill foundation (Adligenswil).

The owner-managed company was founded as Frascio Deutschland GmbH in 1999 and renamed to GRIFFWERK GmbH in 2013. At the moment, the main site in Southern Germany employs a workforce of 120. We consider our success to be reflected in our innovative power and strong customer-orientation. We develop convincing products for our customers, as well as effective sales and marketing concepts. Customer service is of the utmost importance for us, together with unusual products. Strong team spirit, commitment and joy in our work, as well as enthusiasm for interior, design and architecture, characterise the people who work for GRIFFWERK.
