“Form follows comfort” could have been the guideline for the further developed design of this extraordinary lock case. The new, convenient one-hand closing option is particularly striking. Thanks to revised technology, the locking button is now within thumb's reach and can be conveniently operated when closing the door. The external dimensions of the lock case have also been significantly reduced. The many adjustment options are also convenient: the spring force of the door handle can be individually adjusted and the handle position corrected with millimeter precision.

This handle takes its name from the former Berlin motor racing circuit, where many pioneering achievements were made. We launched the first Avus design in 2011. It had a wide polished bevel. The characteristic feature of this track were the two large hairpin bends. We reduced the shape of the handle once again. Two semicircles now capture the circumferential outer line of the straight front surface.
